Rajesh Nambiar Assumes Leadership as Chairperson of NASSCOM

In a notable development, the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) has appointed Rajesh Nambiar, Chairman and Managing Director of Cognizant India, as its new Chairperson.

Nambiar succeeds Anant Maheshwari, former President of Microsoft India, who had taken over as Chairperson in April this year for the term 2023-24. This transition in leadership marks a significant moment for both NASSCOM and the Indian tech industry.

Anant Maheshwari, who had been at the helm of NASSCOM, is embarking on a new journey as the President and CEO of Honeywell's High Growth Region, based in Dubai. His tenure at Microsoft India concluded in August, and he officially assumes his new role on September 4.

Rajesh Nambiar, who previously held the position of Vice-Chair at NASSCOM, now assumes the role of Chairperson. He will collaborate closely with NASSCOM President Debjani Ghosh and the executive council to shape the future of the organization and address key industry challenges.
