News Synopsis

A cryptocurrency asset exchange named ZebPay announced that Rahul Pagidipati has taken over as CEO once again as of December 1, 2022. Rahul will oversee ZebPay's operations and collaborate with the present leadership group to expand both the company's existing and new business lines.

After purchasing the majority of the company from the three co-founders in January 2020, Rahul Pagidipati was appointed CEO of ZebPay for the first time. In June 2021, ZebPay announced that Rahul Pagidipati and Avinash Shekhar would serve as co-CEOs, with Rahul overseeing global growth and strategy and Avinash concentrating on boosting ZebPay's market share and revenue in India.

With the internal title of Un-CEO, Rahul continued to help and mentor Avinash as he took the position of CEO in December. The new title reflected the company's long-term goal of becoming more similar to a DAO and was created to support and empower Avinash (decentralized autonomous organisation).

Devaiah Pagidipati, a current board member and the founder of NAADAM  (National Association for Advancement of Dalits, Adivasis, and Minorities), will also join ZebPay's active leadership. Pagidipati, a prominent serial entrepreneur and investor, will lead a new ZebPay unit that will provide service to governments and non-profit organizations.

Since 2011, Rahul has made investments in blockchain and digital currencies. He is a firm believer that blockchain technology has the potential to revolutionise a wide range of industries and public institutions. As CEO, he wants to grow ZebPay's company by offering cutting-edge products and services that are designed for institutional, governmental, and nonprofit customers as well as retail and business clients. ZebPay will keep putting its emphasis on educating investors and providing a seamless user experience.

Avinash Shekhar, the former CEO, will start his entrepreneurial venture by launching his own business in the Web3 industry.

Rahul Pagidipati commented on being appointed CEO of ZebPay by saying, "I'm excited to be back as CEO of ZebPay. I never stopped being involved at the strategic level, but this year my focus has been on growth and investment opportunities. As I step back into daily operations, we will build new products and services focused on the specific needs of our different customer groups, whether they be individuals, institutions, or government".
