Philips Appoints Pooja Baid As New Marketing Head

Pooja Baid has been named as the new Head of Marketing for India by Philips Domestic Appliances. He is regarded as a successful corporate marketer. Pooja has more than 14 years of expertise in creating successful businesses from scratch and forging strong brands in a variety of industries. She will be in charge of directing Philips Domestic Appliances, India's overall marketing strategy in her new position.
Prior to joining Philips Domestic Appliances, Pooja was working with Coca-Cola India Pvt Ltd. There he worked for all brands including Thumsup, Sprite, and Coca-Cola. His team was instrumental in making last year's most memorable campaign Thumsup 'Palat De'. He has also worked with ITC Limited where he has played an integral role in building many brands through his various roles.
Early in her career, Pooja established, ran, and divested an e-commerce business in the food aggregation sector. She is drawn to challenges and has the ambition to push her boundaries and go beyond. She takes pleasure in assisting and mentoring startups as they expand their businesses.
Pooja holds an MBA from the International Management Institute in Delhi and a degree in economics with honors from St. Xavier's College in Kolkata.
