Nike Profits hike 16% with Customer Engagement

President and CEO of Nike, John Donahue has talked about how having a direct connection with customers can lead towards greater profits for a company. Nike has seen a rise in its profits by 16% in the first half of the financial year, and by 7% in the second quarter.
The executive vice president of Nike, Matt Friend has also said that the customer engagement grew by 27% and the repeat buyers increased by 50%, making it the highest average order value. According to the CEO, the brand has managed to engage with the customers with the new wellness workout in the Nike Training Club App. The programme has doubled the number of daily active users.
