Jindal Stainless gets certified with AS 9100D

Jindal Stainless is India's first integrated stainless steel manufacturing company to manufacture coils, sheets and plates, and is one of the few companies in the world to achieve AS 9100D, a Quality Management System for Aviation, Space, and Defence Organizations.

This certification verifies JSHL's ability to consistently meet the strictest standards in the aerospace industry. It also allows JSHL to be listed in OASIS, the Online Aerospace Supplier Information System database. AS 9100D certification was promoted by top management and implemented throughout the supply chain by a team of approximately 120 people within 15 months.

SHL has been catering for the needs of strategically significant and prestigious customers like ISRO, DRDO, BDL, and VSSC among others.

In the past, the company has supplied 15CDV6 for satellite launch vehicles, Project Gaganyaan, Nuclear Submarine Missile System etc. JSHL is the first Indian company to supply key materials for ISRO's rocket motor booster applications. The 30KhGSA was provided for the launch pad component of Anti-Tank guided missiles. JSHL also supports almost all DRDO missile programs.
