Grofers Shutdowns 18 Locations After Rebranding to Blinkit
News Synopsis
Grofers has recently rebranded itself to Blinkit to enhance its delivery services and give a better experience to its customers. With this rebranding, the company has shut down its stores and services in some of the locations. The company has now limited its services to those areas only, where it can deliver products within 10 minutes.
Currently, it is available in 30 sites, only 12 of which offer 10-minute delivery, and in other 18 cities, it is still offering the regular one-day delivery. The users can specify the locations and see if the delivery services are available in their area or not.
To make it more convenient, Blinkit is also cutting back the inventory. The company is also planning to offer 4,000-7,000 stock-keeping units. Grofers was founded by Albinder Dhindsa and Saurabh Kumar in 2013. The company has rebranded itself to Blinkit prior to this week aiming at providing better services to their customers.
