Elon Musk pledges to 'authenticate all humans'

The world's richest man recently acquired the popular global microblogging platform, Twitter. After acquiring the social media platform, billionaire Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk added another title to his resume-Twitter owner. Elon Musk will pay $54.20 per share for Twitter, which in the end amounts to $44 billion. After the acquisition, the microblogging platform has become a privately held company once again. Elon Musk after the deal said, "Free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated. I also want to make Twitter better than ever by enhancing the product with new features, making the algorithms open source to increase trust, defeating the spambots, and authenticating all humans."
The Chief Executive Officer of Tesla has been very vocal about his views regarding the social media platform. These are some of the changes expected we can see on the microblogging platform, after the takeover by Elon Musk, (i) Loosening content moderation. It is highly anticipated that after the acquisition of the social platform by Musk, its regulations regarding content on the platform will be eased. (ii) Algorithm changes, as Musk has prominently advocated that Twitter's algorithm should be "open source". (iii) Removing spambots. Another change we could witness is the removal of spambots from the platform. (iv) Adding an edit button. Tesla’s Ceo is also in favor of adding an edit button to Twitter.
