Elon Musk: A Name To Remember

Elon Musk’s personal fortune has recorded a tremendous growth at 36.2 billion dollars in a single day reportedly after Tesla received 100,000 orders from Hertz Global Holdings, wherein Musk is a 23% shareholder. Tesla has also a sharp jump in its share’s value at 14.9% to $1,045.02, this is a record in itself, making Tesla, one of the most valuable automakers on the planet. 

Musk’s 23% share in Hertz Global Holding is now worth $289 billion. Apart from these business ventures, Musk is the CEO and major shareholder in the rocket manufacture company, SpaceX, a private cos whose worth is 100 billion dollars as of October. Musk’s net worth now stands at 288.6 billion dollars which is more than several other cos.

The 36.2 billion dollars increase in Musk’s array of personal fortune is a record-breaking history, even recorded in Bloomberg’s Billionaire's Index, a record which was previously held by Chinses tycoon  Zhong Shanshan’s $32 billion surges last year when his bottled-water company, Nongfu Spring Co went public.
