Campus Activewear IPO Subscribed 1.24x on Day-1

Campus Activewear's initial public offering (IPO) was subscribed 1.24 times on the first day of the initial public offering. The retail portion of this issue was subscribed 1.9 times, the high net-worth individual (HNI) portion was subscribed 1.32 times, and the institutional portion was subscribed 9%.
The company allocated Rs 418.3 crore worth of shares to 32 anchor investors at a price range of Rs 292 per share a day before launching its IPO. The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, Fidelity, Nomura, Invesco, and Goldman Sachs were among the investors who got allotted in the anchor category. Among the domestic funds, it was assigned to HDFC MF, ICICI Prudential MF, and Franklin India MF.
Campus Activewear's IPO is worth Rs 1,400-crore and is an entirely secondary equity sale by existing shareholders, including private equity firm TPG. At the top of the price range, Campus Activewear has a market capitalization of Rs 8,886 crore.
