Bharat Pe Founder Bhavik Koladiya Quits Soon After Ashneer Grover's Departure

Bhavik Koladiya, founder of BharatPe, has resigned his position as a fintech company's director. This was just a few months, following Ashneer Grover’s departure. According to the four-year-old company, Koladiya was an 'independent consultant' associated with BharatPe.
BharatPe has had Bhavik Koladiya as an independent consultant. He is responsible for leading our product and technology teams. His contract term ended July 31, 2022 and he expressed his desire for time to work on other assignments," BharatPe sources informed.
According to sources, Koladiya left the company because of a dispute between them. The sources further added that Koladiya didn't agree with BharatPe CEO Suhail Sameer. According to the report, Ashneer Grover is being sued by the company.
"Bhavik was one of our greatest advocates and has been an integral component of our journey to becoming one of India’s largest fintech companies. We wish him all the best but we also know that he will guide us in the future, as and whenever we need," BharatPe stated in a statement.
Due of the specific challenge it addressed, BharatPe quickly gained popularity among businesspeople after its inception in 2018. The pandemic, when no payment app was charging transaction rates lower than 1.5 percent, was when BharatPe saw the most growth. BharatPe seized the chance at this point to profit. Transactions are now completely free.
