Ananya Tripathi likely to join Byju’s Whitehat Jr

According to media reports, the Managing Director of KKR Capstone Ananya Tripathi is in contact to join Byju’s Whitehat Jr as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) by the end of this month. She, prior to being the Managing Director of KKR Capstone, was working with Myntra as the chief strategy officer. She has resigned from her post and will likely join Whitehat Jr after Mid- March. Ananya Tripathi’s alleged appointment comes at a time when there is an extensive restructuring at the company. Whitehat Jr. has been severely criticized for its businesses practices in the past and it was accused of being unethical. Currently, the Chief Executive Officer of WHITEHAT JR is Trupti Mukker. She was Byju’s Customer Experience Head before the appointment and was made the CEO of Whitehat Jr. after the founder and former CEO of the company, Karan Bajaj left it. Byju acquired Whitehat Jr, for $300 million in the month of August 2020. This made Byju enter the computer coding sector that majorly focuses on school and college students. Byjus and Ananya Tripathi chose not to comment on anything at the moment.
