Telefónica Germany, a top integrated telecommunications provider in Germany, has chosen Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to help in the transformation of its end-to-end service assurance applications and processes within its Operations Support Systems (OSS) stack and to further improve the customer experience.

To improve people's lives and provide connectivity to both consumers and enterprises, Telefónica Germany envisions fostering innovation via ongoing digital transformation. The telecom operator selected TCS as its transformation partner to create a future-ready OSS to provide customers with a dependable, resilient, and secure network experience in order to realise this objective.

TCS will use cloud-native technologies and AI/ML to predict and prevent network faults as well as best-in-class methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Continuous Testing (CI/CD/CT) framework and its deep cloud expertise to modernise the OSS service assurance application estate. As a result, Telefónica Germany will be able to launch zero-touch cloud-based operations and provide customers with a more reliable network service. A more improved customer experience and quicker turnaround times will be the outcomes of the reinvented service assurance processes.

Also, the new 5G-based growth areas will be launched faster and with almost no downtime due to Telefónica Germany's new future-ready, streamlined service assurance procedures.
