Bharti Airtel has unveiled an innovative Weekend Data Rollover Pack for its prepaid users, allowing them to carry forward unused weekday data to weekends. Currently available in Haryana and the North-East regions, this plan enhances data utilization and improves user experience.

Plan Pricing and Validity

The Airtel Weekend Data Rollover Pack is priced at Rs. 59 and comes with a validity of 28 days. It enables users to accumulate leftover data from Monday to Friday and use it on Saturday and Sunday without any restrictions.

How the Weekend Rollover Works

For example, if a user has a daily data cap of 2GB but only consumes 1GB, the remaining 1GB is added to the weekend data balance. This means users can accumulate extra data throughout the week and enjoy buffer-free video streaming, gaming, and video calls on weekends.

To activate this feature, customers must have a base plan with unlimited calling and daily data benefits. Once the allocated data is exhausted, the internet speed is reduced to 64Kbps, as per Airtel’s policy.

Comparison with Other Telecom Operators

Airtel now joins telecom rivals like Vodafone Idea (Vi) in offering weekend data rollover benefits. Additionally, Airtel already provides monthly data rollover options for postpaid users, making it a comprehensive data management solution for both prepaid and postpaid customers.

Six Months of Free Apple Music

In addition to Apple TV+, Airtel postpaid users will also get six months of free Apple Music subscription. This partnership enhances the value of Airtel’s plans, making them more appealing to consumers looking for bundled entertainment benefits.
