The company said in a statement that it planned to promote industrial activity in the state and be an active participant in the region's overall development with the help of the government.

Mahendra Singhi MD & CEO of Dalmia Cement and CM Himanta Biswa Sarma were present when the contract was signed.

"I would like to express my significant thanks and appreciation for the careful efforts done by the whole State and its administration in developing collaborations that are producing millions of chances for Assamese people to earn a living and bringing about Economic Growth. In terms of the support and collaboration from all the government agencies, the bigger communities and the whole Assam Population, our experience working in the state has been wonderful, Singhi remarked.

"This year also marks the 10th Anniversary of Dalmia Bharat's Manufacturing presence in the Northeast," the speaker continued. We are still steadfastly devoted to helping the area's economy advance and helping in the construction of famous infrastructure like the Bogibeel Bridge and Dhola Sadiya Bridge, among other things. As one of the regions that adopted blended cement, a low-carbon cement, the fastest, the North-East area showed a highly forward-thinking approach. The choice of Low Carbon Green Cement strengthens our commitment to the "Grey to Green" movement and is in keeping with our goal of becoming Carbon Negative by 2040.
