Zepto Doubles it Valuation to $570 Million in 7 Months

Zepto, a quick grocery delivery application is now valued at $570 million dollars. The company has managed to take its valuation to half a billion in such a short period of time.
The company had raised $60 million about a month ago. On December 21, the company announced that it has raised another $100 million in a Series C round led by Y Combinator’s Continuity Fund.
Zepto was founded by two teenage Stanford dropouts, Aadit Palicha and Kaivalya Vohra. The grocery delivery platform currently operates in Delhi, Hyderabad, Gurgaon, Bengaluru, and Chennai delivering over 2,500 products. It is also planning to expand its business in Pune and Kolkata.
Aadit Palicha, the co-founder and Chief Executive of Zepto said that the investors are choosing Zepto for its best in class execution and the customers are loving the product experience. He also expressed his excitement saying that the company has strong core unit economics along with one of the best startup teams in India currently.
