News Synopsis

YouTube TV has restored the Disney-affiliated channels under a deal with Disney. It has now gained access to ESPN, FX, and other channels for the streaming services. Earlier YouTube banned these channels from YouTube TV. The Disney channels were removed from YouTube TV last Friday.

Under this new deal, YouTube TV has also claimed to lower the prices for users. It would go back to its original price of $64.99 per month. YouTube TV has also claimed to give a $15 discount to its active members and has said that those who have not received the discount yet, will automatically receive a one-time credit in their next month's bill without taking any action. The platform has also initiated the cancellation process for all the impacted members and has said that they would love to welcome them back.

With this deal, ABC, ESPN, Disney Channel, National Geographic, FX, and Freedom will come back on Google-owned OTT services along with the other affiliated channels such as Disney XD and ESPN2.
