News Synopsis

Japanese Carmaker, Toyota Motors who is also the highest selling car manufacturer in the world is currently working on, to make two new Hybrid Engines. Toyota is world famous for its hybrid engines as they offer class-leading performance and exceptional reliability. These two engines will be made in 1.5 litres and 2.0 litre capacities. The 1.5 litre hybrid engine will reportedly be used to power the upcoming compact SUV of the company. Currently, these hybrid engines are being tested by Toyota. These engines will power Toyota’s D22 compact SUV, 560B MPV, and the new generation Innova. The 1.5 litres apart from powering the compact SUV will also power the C-segment MPV. The bigger 2.0 litre hybrid engine will be used in the upcoming Innova. Hybrid cars are known for better fuel efficiency. They are powered by both gasoline and electric energy. Currently, Toyota offers a number of cars in the domestic market, with Fortuner and Innova being its best sellers. Recently, there have been reports that the production of Toyota was globally disrupted due to the ongoing global chip shortage.
