News Synopsis

Homei Miyashita, a professor at Meiji University has developed a television screen that can give the taste of the food by using a carousel of flavourful canisters. According to the reports, the flavored canisters are sprayed in various combinations that would taste like different dishes from all around the world.

The device is called, Taste the TV (TTTV) and it comes with a hygienic film that is laid over the screen for users to taste the flavors.

The professor has also offered the tech firms to use his spraying technique to develop products that can make a toasted bread taste like pizza or chocolate. The professor is also planning to develop technology that would allow the users to download the food from across the globe just like downloading music on their devices.

The device developed now is just a prototype and the professor has claimed that the device will be soon commercially available in the market for around $875. However, it is yet not confirmed when it would be available for users all around the world.
