• Constructed at a cost exceeding Rs 1,450 crore, the Ayodhya Airport boasts a modern terminal equipped to handle approximately 10 lakh passengers annually.

• This state-of-the-art facility will connect Ayodhya to major cities across India and beyond, opening doors for increased tourism and economic prosperity.

• Its design pays homage to the city's spiritual significance, reflecting the ethos of Ayodhya and drawing inspiration from the grandeur of the Ram Temple.

Connecting Hearts: Ayodhya Dham Railway Station and the Dawn of Amrit Bharat Trains

• PM Modi will also inaugurate the redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Railway Station, a testament to India's commitment to modernizing its railway infrastructure.

• This revamped station features amenities like lifts, escalators, food plazas, and child care rooms, offering a comfortable and convenient travel experience for pilgrims and visitors.

• The highlight of the event will be the flag-off of the first-ever Amrit Bharat train, ushering in a new era of affordable and comfortable train travel.

• These "LHB push-pull trains with non-air-conditioned coaches" cater to the needs of budget-conscious travellers, providing them with a clean, safe, and efficient travel option.

• Two Amrit Bharat trains - the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express and the Malda Town-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express - will be flagged off, connecting Ayodhya to distant corners of the country.

• Launch projects worth over Rs 11,100 crore to revamp Ayodhya's civic facilities and infrastructure, creating a world-class pilgrim experience.

• Announce projects exceeding Rs 4,600 crore for the development of other parts of the state, ensuring inclusive and sustainable growth across Uttar Pradesh.

Amrit Bharat Express Unveiling

The Amrit Bharat Express, characterized as an "LHB push-pull train with non-air-conditioned coaches," will commence its journey with two new routes. PM Modi will flag off the Darbhanga-Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal Amrit Bharat Express and the Malda Town-Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminus (Bengaluru) Amrit Bharat Express.

Vande Bharat Train Expansion

Accompanying the Amrit Bharat Express, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate six new Vande Bharat trains, broadening India's Vande Bharat Express network. The routes include Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi, Amritsar-Delhi, Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantt, Mangalore-Madgaon, Jalna-Mumbai, and Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal.

Following the rail station inauguration, PM Modi will inaugurate the Ayodhya Airport, christened the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham. This state-of-the-art airport, constructed at a cost exceeding Rs 1,450 crore, is poised to serve nearly 10 lakh passengers annually.
