OnePlus is Reportedly Developing its First Foldable Phone
News Synopsis
As per reports, China-based smartphone manufacturer OnePlus is working on its first foldable smartphone. With the introduction of this alleged smartphone, OnePlus aims to compete against Samsung and Oppo, which have already launched their foldable smartphone in the market. According to a Pricebaba report, the OnePlus foldable phone is in the works and will be launched in India and other international markets. It further informs that the new foldable smartphone from OnePlus will be based on Oppo Find N.
Oppo and OnePlus are owned by BBK Electronics. Last year, both the companies announced a merger and informed that they will share their resources with one another for better operations. This smartphone will be the first major product after the merger of both companies. The Oppo Find N smartphone was introduced at the company’s INNO Day 2021 event. It features a 7.1-inch inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate and SCHOTT UTG glass protection. On the outer side, it comes with a 5.49-inch outer display with a 60Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset along with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
