New Record For 182 mm Solar Cell Achieved By JinkoSolar
News Synopsis
A significant technological breakthrough has been achieved by JinkoSolar Holding for its 182 mm N-type monocrystalline silicon solar cell.
The maximum solar conversion efficiency of 26.1 percent for JinkoSolar's large-size monocrystalline silicon TOPCon solar cell measuring 182 mm and above has been confirmed by the National Institute of Metrology, China (NIM).
Large-area solar cells can use this cutting-edge technology. This new record for maximum conversion efficiency of 26.1 percent, compared to the previous record of 25.7 percent, was set using JinkoSolar's HOT technology and a number of material upgrades.
