Kia India dispatches 5 lakh cars from the Anantapur plant

News Synopsis

The Indian division of South Korean automobile giant Kia Motors- Kia India, on Tuesday has announced that it has achieved a five lakh dispatch mark from its Anantapur Plant situated in Andhra Pradesh. These dispatches contain both units, the ones which are sold in the domestic market and the ones which are exported to other countries. The company as of now has sold four lakh units in the Indian market and exported one lakh units to 91 countries. Tae-Jin Park, Managing Director, and CEO of Kia India said: "Half-a-million is a big number and we are proud to have attained this milestone in less than 2.5 years. Ever since our inception in India, we have focused on providing great value to our customers through our ground-breaking products and services. Today, Kia is a part of 4 lakh Indian families and we are extremely grateful for the affection bestowed upon us by our esteemed customers”. A few days back Kia India launched its fourth car in the Indian market- Kia Carens.
