Is Facebook Planning To Change it's Name?

The social media world is abuzz with the name change announcement of tech giant Facebook, the company is expected to unveil a rebranded name by the next week or even before according to a news article by The Verge. The new name can be announced at the company’s annual meet but it could be declared earlier as well. 

While the app will be rebranded with a new name, the features and services are reported to be the same undoubtedly. The rebranding could lead Facebook’s social media app as one of the many products under a parent company. 

Mark Zuckerberg founded Facebook Inc. in 2004 and believes that the social media app’s key to remain popular in the future lies in the fact of it functioning on a metaverse concept meaning an idea that the users will “live, work and exercise in a virtual universe”.
