India's First Alcohol Museum Opens in Goa
News Synopsis
Nandan Kudchadkar, a local businessman, founded the 'All About Alcohol' museum in Candolim village, North Goa. This is India's first museum dedicated to booze which has opened its doors to "spirited" visitors. Hundreds of artifacts related to feni are housed there, including enormous, traditional glass vats used to preserve the indigenous cashew-based wine decades ago.
The museum's goal, according to Kudchadkar, is to raise global awareness of Goa's rich legacy, particularly the narrative of feni, a powerful native drink. He also stated that when they were considering establishing an idea like this, there was no location in the globe where they could observe anything related to alcohol. Scotland is ecstatic about its waters, beverages, and other amenities. Similarly, individuals in Russia are keen to show off their beverages, but there is no alcohol museum. The first-ever alcohol museum is called "All About Alcohol." One of the museum's most well-known beverages is the Kaju Feni alcohol, which is on exhibit. This beverage is naturally fermented. According to Armando Duarte, CEO of the Alcohol Museum, drinking alcohol is a mark of hospitality among Goans.
