Using this method, it is possible to go over 400 kilometres for only Rs 80, according to Gadkari, who added that "The Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru has figured out a way to make green hydrogen with bio waste without power,"  According to Gadkari, once green hydrogen generation is scaled up, it may be utilised to significantly lower transportation costs nationwide while also being environmentally friendly. ELECTRIC VEHICLE FUTURE Gadkari also highlighted the prospects for electric cars in India and said that the country would soon see the introduction of electric tractors.
