Honda May Bring Electric Scooter in India Soon

Honda can soon introduce an affordable electric scooter in the Indian market. The electric scooter Honda U-Go was launched by the company in China last year and soon after, the Japanese manufacturer filed a patent for the scooter in India as well. The patent was registered in August of 2021 and is now journaled. The company had announced its intention to make eco-friendly vehicles and electric vehicles in India.
The Honda U-Go could be part of the plan to bring affordable electric two-wheelers and create an ecosystem for this green technology. The Honda U-Go is a slim and light E-Scooter that follows the Minimal Design Philosophy. If we talk about the price, then the standard model price of Honda U-GO is 7,499 Chinese Yuan i.e. approximately Rs 85,342 and the top-model price is 7,999 Chinese Yuan i.e. around Rs 91,501. Its price in the Chinese market is much lower than other e-scooters.
The scooter has an LCD screen, which gives information like speed, distance, charge, and riding mode. It gets an LED headlight with a triple beam on the front apron. It also includes an LED DRLs strip. It gets 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels. Both the models get a bigger storage space of 26-liters.
