Google's Gemini 1.5 Pro Chatbot Debuts in India, Supporting Nine Indian Languages

Google has celebrated the first year of Gemini in India by announcing the launch of the Gemini chatbot app. This new app supports English and nine Indian languages, marking a significant step in making advanced AI accessible to a broader audience.

Gemini Advanced, powered by Google’s Gemini 1.5 Pro model, is also being introduced with the same language support. This version of the chatbot boasts advanced capabilities. 

Including a massive 1 million token context window, the longest context of any widely available consumer chatbot. This allows Gemini Advanced to process and understand extensive amounts of information, such as lengthy documents, emails, and even video and codebases.

With Gemini Advanced, users can leverage AI to handle multiple large documents. The app can upload up to 1,500 pages or summarize 100 emails, providing significant efficiency for managing large volumes of information.
