Asteria Aerospace launches Skydeck

A subsidiary of Jio Platforms, Asteria Aerospace has launched an end-to-end drone operations platform by the name SkyDeck. Asteria Aerospace is a drone manufacturer and allied solutions providing company. SkyDeck is basically a cloud-based software platform that offers Drone as a Service (DaaS) solutions for multiple drone industry sectors such as agriculture, surveying, industrial inspections, surveillance, and security. Other than this it also provides drone fleet management services with scheduling and execution of drone flights. Additionally, SkyDeck also offers data processing, visualization, and analysis of aerial data captured using drones by Artificial Intelligence based technology. Co-founder & Director of Asteria Aerospace, Neel Mehta said: "With the launch of SkyDeck, we are addressing the need of the hour with an integrated drone hardware, software, and operations solution. SkyDeck simplifies the use of drones to generate aerial data and turns that digital data into business insights to power drone applications at scale." He further informed that recent relaxation in the regulations for drone operations and the promotion of DaaS by the Centre have increased the demand for drones across industry sectors.
