World Science Day for Peace And Development

Science and peace have an important role in this modern world. There are multiple examples that show the importance of science in development. In order to celebrate it and to honor the role of science in our daily life, UNESCO announced November 10 to be celebrated as World Science Day for Peace and Development. 

This year the world is celebrating the 20th edition of this day and UNESCO proclaimed November 10 as World Science Day for Peace and Development in 2001. The day is celebrated with a theme every year and the theme for 2021 is Climate change and focuses on the importance of Building Climate Ready Communities.
