News Synopsis

Imagindairy, an Israeli Tech Firm came up with a method for making milk proteins from fungus or other plant microbes. The milk is totally produced in the laboratory and is totally like cow milk. The company has claimed that the milk will be available in Israeli stores by 2023. 

The startup has said that the milk generated by the company would be totally identical to cow’s milk. It is using fungi or other plant microorganisms to produce milk proteins.

A UN Environmental Programme has presented in its report that methane is a serious climate issue. The NGOs believe that the use of this milk would help to reduce climate change and deforestation.
