News Synopsis

At an event in Melbourne on Monday, Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan unveiled the logos for ReelStar, a Web3-integrated social media platform. ReelStar, which was founded by Navdeep Sharma and Nick Bahl, combines a variety of social media, web3, and payment functions while giving producers access to a global audience and in-app tools.

The architecture of the network's token REELT uses the Polygon (MATIC) and Binance Smart Chains, and it is built on a multi-blockchain platform (BSC). The company stated in a news release that it may be expanded to other blockchain networks as needed.

According to Navdeep Sharma, co-founder of ReelStar, “ReelStar aims to energise and reinvigorate the global media and entertainment industry. Our app will provide a global platform for creators thereby enabling a positive network of communities that inspire connection, collaboration, and inclusion. Our UVP lies in our seamlessness and our easy-to-use platform that is accessible to almost everyone to create, collect, trade, and monetize an exciting array of NFTs and user-generated content,”

ReelStar added that the Initial Token Offering (ITO) of its utility token ReelToken earned over $5 million (REELT). Through an initial token offering, funds are raised.

According to the company, the web3 startup plans to raise an extra $31.27 million through staged public releases.

In December 2022, the Indian Sneaker Festival will take place, with ReelStar serving as the primary sponsor. Global cryptocurrency professionals including Evan Luthra, Naveen Kapoor, and Indian-American serial entrepreneur Nikita Sachdev are among the members of ReelStar's advisory board.
