Indian Railway's First Pod Hotel at Mumbai Central Station

Indian Railway has inaugurated its first pod hotel at Mumbai Central Railway Station. The pod hotel is spread in an area of 3000 square feet and is located on the first floor of the Mumbai Central Railway Station. It has 48 capsule-like rooms including separate pods for women and differentially abled. 

The passengers can easily access the facilities at a reasonable price. The hotel also has the facilities like Wi-Fi and washrooms. The passengers will also have the access to television, mobile charging points, and reading lights. IRCTC has been planning the construction of the hotel since 2018. If the pod hotel at Mumbai Central Railway Station is successful, more hotels like this can be constructed across other stations in India.
