The season finale of TvN's Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha has set a new all-time high record in viewership. Since its launch on August 21 of this year, this series has been one of the most popular in Korea. The show came out as the most popular television show during its run time. With its last episode on October 17, the popular romantic comedy showcasing Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah keeps a tally to its best audience figures yet. According to Nielsen Korea, the series finale of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha received a 12.7 percent average national rating, a new high-end for the drama. For its last broadcast, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha stayed top in its time slot among all audiences and the important demographic of onlookers aged 20 to 49, with whom it achieved a nationwide average of 6.5 percent.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha ranked first on Netflix's "Today's Top 10" in Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, according to Flixpatrol. Furthermore, the series is ranked seventh in the entire globe. While the Squid Game is still the talk of the town, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha demonstrated the strength of a Korean-style rom-com.
