G20 Summit Will Be Held In Uttar Pradesh In February 2023

Ever since India took over the command of the G20 Summit 2023, preparations have started in full swing all over India. Uttar Pradesh is also not behind in this. The G20 Summit will be held in Uttar Pradesh in February-2023 under the able guidance and direction of the dynamic Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Shri Yogi Adityanath. The summit meetings will be organized in Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi, Greater Noida on different selected topics. Representatives of different countries coming from all over the world will also be taken on a tour of the religious and historical places of Kashi, Ayodhya, Mathura, Agra, Bundelkhand in the Summit.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary Durgashankar Mishra, in a meeting held at Lok Bhavan on Friday, gave proper directions for the grand event of the G20 summit and to start its preparations a month in advance. The Chief Secretary gave instructions to welcome the delegates coming to the G20 summit, hotels for their stay, decoration of the entire city, transport system, internet connectivity, and proper medical and security arrangements.

The Chief Secretary also directed to prepare of a security plan along with mapping the route, to maintain the cleanliness of the entire city including the airport, and the venue of the G20 summit. In this important meeting, Principal Secretary of Urban Development Department Amrit Abhijat, Principal Secretary Tourism Mukesh Kumar Meshram, Secretary Urban Development Ranjan Kumar, and other officials were present.

Along with this, Urban Development Department Secretary Ranjan Kumar told that a total of 11 meetings will be organized in four districts of Uttar Pradesh for G20. Meetings will be held in Agra on 9-10 January, Varanasi from 13 to 15 January and Varanasi on 28-29 August. In these total 11 meetings, there will be meeting on 11 topics related to financial, sherpa, and engagement tracking. There will be a meeting of Engagement Civil Society, Business-20, Youth-20.
