Elon Musk Changed Many Rooms At Twitter Headquarters Into Bedrooms For Staff

Elon Musk reportedly turned rooms at the Twitter headquarters in San Francisco into small bedrooms featuring unmade mattresses, drab curtains, and enormous computer monitors after he told employees to either be "extremely hard" at work or quit.

According to a media agency, the mattresses are set up so that the remaining "hardcore" employees can spend the night at the workplace.

According to the report, when Twitter employees first arrived at work on Monday, they saw many office areas being converted into "small sleeping quarters."

Bright orange carpeting, a wooden bedside table, and what appears to be a queen bed are all available in the bedrooms, along with two office armchairs that beg for friendly workplace collaboration.

Employees were stunned and surprised that Musk and the company had not made any announcements about the move.

"It's not a good look. It's yet another unspoken sign of disrespect. There is no discussion. Just like, beds showed up, "In the report, a source was quoted as saying.

According to sources who spoke to a  news agency, there were maybe "four to eight such rooms per floor" at the Twitter HQ. Musk gave his Twitter employees an ultimatum last month, an ultimatum that they work "extremely hardcore"  work or leave.

In a memo to staff members, Musk stated, "Going forward, to build a breakthrough Twitter 2.0 and succeed in an increasingly competitive world, we will need to be extremely hardcore,"

"This will mean working long hours at high intensity. Only exceptional performance will constitute a passing grade," he added. After Musk took over Twitter, there were stories of Twitter employees sleeping on the office floor.
