At the age of 66, Bollywood actor and director Satish Kaushik passed away in Delhi, India. According to his nephew Nishaan Kaushik, the actor had a heart attack on Thursday morning, according to the news.

He was traveling when it happened, and after being taken to the hospital immediately, the doctors there reported that he was dead on arrival.

In the Hindi film industry, Kaushik worked as an actor, producer, comedian, and screenwriter, among other things.

His big performance was as Calendar, a cook in the 1987 blockbuster Mr. India. His comic timing, for which he would later be known, was put on display in the role.

In a number of other movies, like Ram Lakhan, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, and Deewana Mastana, he portrayed noteworthy characters.

In addition, he produced a number of films, including Tere Naam, Prem, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain, and Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja.

Kaushik, who was born on April 13th, 1956, attended the National School of Drama after completing his studies at Delhi University's Kirori Mal College.

He was active on Twitter and frequently published reflections about his professional life. He tweeted a picture of himself arriving in Mumbai, India, in 1979 to pursue his dream of becoming an actor, and the response to the posting was overwhelming.

Many politicians and Bollywood celebrities paid respect to the actor.

Anupam Kher, an actor, tweeted the news and remarked that without Kaushik, with whom he had been friends for 45 years, life would never be the same.

He was described as "a man who always laughed even in worst crisis and stood by anyone in his crisis".

The actor will be remembered for his "contribution to Indian cinema, artistic creations, and performances." according to Home Minister Amit Shah.

In the upcoming historical drama Emergency, Kaushik will make his last  appearance on the big screen.
