From the ancient till today’s era India is a country full of cultural monuments, places, and heritage. The whole world knows about the traditions and heritage of India. From some research in social media, when you ask any foreigner about India, they often describe India as the land of heritage and spirituality. Again, it is proved. In the 44th session of the World Heritage Committee, again this year Telangana’s Ramappa Temple is selected as one of the UNESCO’s heritage sites. It is really such news to us to feel proud as an Indian.

Ramappa Temple, also known as the Rudreswara Temple, is a temple of Lord Shiva. At first, the temple was included in the proposed UNESCO World Heritage Site “The Glorious Kakatiya Temples and Gateways”, in the 2019 heritage tentative list. And finally, on 25th July 2021, the temple got the respect of being the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
