Tata Steel Limited has taken a great initiative by recruiting 18 'Transgender' employees in its Common Services Division at Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Giving information in this regard on Thursday, the company said that in December 2021, Tata Steel's West Bokaro division in Jharkhand started this ambitious journey by recruiting 14 transgender workers into Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) operators in its mines. He has been appointed in the company by incorporation as This is not the first time that even before this, a total of 97 transgender employees have been recruited at Tata Steel's Kalinganagar, West Bokaro in Odisha and Jamshedpur in Jharkhand.
