Royal Enfield partnered with US-based Icon Motorsports to develop the Shotgun 650 Icon Edition. This special edition is inspired by the ‘Always Something’ custom motorcycle, which was showcased at EICMA 2024 and Motoverse 2024. While the chassis and engine remain the same as the standard Shotgun 650, this limited-edition model stands out with its unique three-tone racing-inspired paint scheme.
The Shotgun 650 Icon Edition was launched for sale on February 12 at 8:30 PM IST and was sold out within seconds. This edition was globally limited to just 100 units, with only 25 units allocated for India. Priced at ₹4.25 lakh (ex-showroom), it comes at a premium of ₹65,000 more than the standard Shotgun 650.
Buyers who missed out on the purchase saw a message that read:
"The Legacy of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Icon Edition has come to an end. Thank you for participating in the sale."
The Shotgun 650 Icon Edition boasts a bold three-tone color scheme that enhances its racing appeal.
The front cowl is painted in light blue and white.
The fuel tank features a striking combination of light blue, red, and white.
The side panels proudly display the number ‘24’.
The rear fender integrates red and white shades along with the Icon Motorsports logo.
Additional styling elements include gold contrast-cut wheels, a red seat, blue rear springs, and bar-end mirrors.
This limited-edition model stays true to Royal Enfield’s legacy of custom motorcycles, appealing to enthusiasts who appreciate unique aesthetics with high-performance engineering.
Every buyer of the Shotgun 650 Icon Edition received an exclusive Slabtown Intercept RE jacket, crafted by Icon Motorsports. This premium riding jacket is made from a blend of suede and textile materials and features leather appliqués and detailed embroidery, adding to the exclusivity of this edition.
Despite the special-edition design, the Shotgun 650 Icon Edition maintains the robust mechanical specifications of the standard model:
Engine: 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine
Power Output: 46.6 bhp at 7,250 rpm
Torque: 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm
Front Suspension: Showa Separate Function Big Piston Fork (SFF-BP) with 120 mm travel
