Poco has officially launched the C71 in India, shaking up the budget smartphone market by offering a rare feature — a 120Hz refresh rate display — at an incredibly low starting price of just Rs 6,499. With this, Poco is pushing boundaries on what users can expect from a sub-Rs 7,000 smartphone.
Traditionally, high refresh rate screens were limited to premium and mid-range devices. The Poco C71 changes that by introducing a 120Hz panel in the entry-level category. This high refresh rate enhances user experience with smoother scrolling, better gaming visuals, and an overall fluid UI.
Along with the 120Hz refresh rate, the Poco C71 sports a 6.88-inch HD+ display, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 600 nits of peak brightness — delivering an immersive visual experience rarely seen in this price bracket.
One of the biggest surprises is that the Poco C71 comes with Android 15 right out of the box. Most phones in this segment still ship with older Android versions, so this future-ready approach gives the device an edge.
Poco also promises two years of OS updates and four years of security patches, ensuring long-term usability — a rarity in this price range.
