PM Modi to launch projects worth 4,400 crores in Gujarat on 12 May

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to Gujarat to Launch Projects worth close to Rs 4,400 crore as well as distribute homes constructed under the National Government's Housing Program to 19,000 recipients.

He will attend the Gandhinagar 'Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangh Adhiveshan' and also go to GIFT City, according to a release.

According to the statement, Modi will launch and lay the Foundations for Development Projects totaling more than Rs 2,450 crore at the Gandhinagar Program.

These include projects from the Departments of Urban Development, Water Supply, Roads and Transportation, and Mines and Minerals.

During the program, he would give keys to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (rural and urban) plan participants. According to the statement, the overall cost of these projects is close to Rs 1,950 crore.

He will assess the status of different current initiatives when he is in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), and he will also speak with the GIFT IFSC to learn more about their past experiences and future goals, according to the statement.

The 29th All India Primary Teachers' Federation biannual conference is called the "Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Sangh Adhiveshan." 'Teachers are at the Heart of Transforming Education' is the conference's theme.
