News Synopsis

Apple is currently planning to launch its new Macs with its most powerful processor till date- the M2. The company reportedly will equip the 13-inch MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, 24-inch iMac, and a redesigned MacBook Air with an M2 processor and will likely replace the earlier M1 chip. The M2 is said to have the same octa-core CPU as the M1 but is said to be better than the latter in terms of processing speeds and efficiency as it is said to be built on a smaller node. However, on the GPU front, we may see a couple of more GPU cores than the M1. Apple is set to launch the New Macs in different launch events in the coming months. At Apple’s March 8th event, one new mac along with iPhone SE 3 and iPad air is to be launched. Other macs are said to be unveiled in May or June. Apple will also be rolling out iOS 15.4 update in March as well.
