The world's largest American space agency, National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA will make another attempt to launch the Artemis-1 moon rocket on Saturday. On Monday, NASA postponed its launch for the time being due to technical problems. This rocket will send the Crewless Orion spacecraft to the Moon, which will test there for more than a month. The Sputnik news agency, quoting Artemis' mission manager Mike Sarafin, informed about the plans to launch it on Saturday.
Sarafin said on Tuesday that the mission would be relaunched on Saturday, September 3. On Monday, NASA was preparing to release it from Kennedy Space Center off the coast of Florida, but at the last minute, it was called off due to a number of reasons, including problems with the rocket's engine, hydrogen leak, and bad weather. NASA had tweeted that the launch of Artemis-1 is not taking place today, because of some problem with its engine.
Its flight was stopped as the countdown stopped. At the same time, when launched on Saturday, the new space rocket Artemis-1 and Orion spacecraft will have their first test flight. This 322-foot (98-meter) rocket is the most powerful rocket ever built by NASA. With this, the Orion spacecraft without a crew will be launched on the moon. Orion will test on the moon for about 42 days.
