Magenta ChargeGrid partners with Ather Energy

Magenta ChargeGrid, an EV charging company, announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with Ather Energy, a prominent electric two-wheeler manufacturer, to deploy charging stations. In this regard, the companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Magenta will handle the charging stations through the ChargeGrid platform.

Magenta ChargeGrid said in a statement that the agreement will allow integrated charging for two-three-four-wheelers at a single site. "This collaborative approach with Ather Energy, shall further our vision and allow consumers to access network of smart and safe charging stations across the country and encourage a seamless EV adoption. This partnership approach will not just help Ather and other OEM players to rapidly scale their network but also help them to optimize the investment required," Maxson Lewis, Founder and Managing Director, Magenta noted.

With the purpose of developing a stronger EV charging ecosystem, Magenta ChargeGrid has created alliances with important DISCOMs across the country, including BSES, BESCOM, and others. Ather has so far partnered with charging operators like Zeon Charging and retail partners like Decathlon, Cafe Coffee Day, Blue Tokai, and 15 other brands.
