Larson & Turbo (L&T) has announced that the construction arm of the company has acquired the order from the National High-Speed Corporation Ltd ( NHSRCL). The company will work on the design and construction of civil and building for a double line high-speed railway of a length of 8.198 km.
The company said in a statement that the construction arm of the company has acquired an order from the NHSRCL for designing and construction of the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Project, the first high-speed rail corridor of the country.
The high-speed rail project also passes through Vadodara,Gujarat, and is scheduled to be completed within 49 months.
