More than 2000 properties in 41 markets have received this year's Gold Circle Awards as travel markets throughout the world expand to international travel.

Thailand retained its top rank for the fourth year in a row, with Taiwan rocketing to the second spot and Japan following.

India made their debut in the Top 10 list, while South Korea, Malaysia, the United States, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam kept their positions among the top ten. In addition, China, the Philippines, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Maldives, Vietnam, Indonesia, and South Korea are the countries with the most properties that have received awards for four years in a row.

Each year, awards are given to establishments that have demonstrated their superiority by offering guests good value, competitive rates, superior service, and flexibility.

These hotels have actively collaborated with Agoda to take advantage of the always-changing opportunities available to partners and have not only established new standards for their own performance but also for the sector.

"The Gold Circle Awards have provided Agoda with the opportunity to honor partners who are pushing the boundaries of service and hospitality and who are also working together to advance the industry in response to changing consumer needs.

The Gold Circle Awards, now in their 14th year, also carry on the tradition of assisting good teams worldwide to evaluate changing travel industry dynamics, develop better products and services, and more effectively drive our innovation practices, according to Liyana Jamil, vice president of partner services at Agoda.

Winners will receive a digital Gold Circle Award badge,  Agoda Growth Express (AGX) credits, a special credit to boost marketing on the website, as well as recognition on Agoda's dedicated landing page (available on 1-31 December 2022).

In a continuing partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF),  Agoda has donated to plant 5,000 trees on behalf of all GCA winners globally.
