Google TV app is now available on iOS that aggregates content recommendations from streaming services and allows users to create their favorite universal watchlist.

The tech giant said it would replace the previous Google Play Movies & TV apps on the App Store. Therefore, if users already have these installed, they should be able to upgrade to the Google TV experience, The Verge reports.

The software is already available on Android, and users can also evaluate what they have previously viewed to improve future recommendations. More importantly, Chromecast owners using Android TV or Google TV can use the Google TV app as a remote to use the Google TV app as a remote control for these devices.

Not all major streaming services allow that content to be included in the ranks of Google TV's aggregated records, and Netflix is ​​a big holdout, the report said. The company unintegrated Google TV shortly after the release of Chromecast 2020, and since then Google has been unable to revive Netflix.
