In anticipation of this year's highly anticipated Prime Day sale on July 15 and 16, Amazon India has introduced the Sale Event Planner tool. This new tool, accessible through the Amazon Seller app, is designed to assist sellers in effectively preparing for upcoming events and optimizing their sales strategies on Amazon.in.
The Sale Event Planner allows sellers to opt-in for offering attractive deals during the sale event. Moreover, it provides valuable recommendations on optimizing inventory levels to maximize sales potential. These features enable sellers to make informed decisions and enhance their performance during these high-traffic events.
Amazon India emphasizes that the tool will be available to all sellers with at least one deal recommendation and who utilize the seller app.
Amit Nanda, Director of Selling Partner Services at Amazon India, highlights the company's objective of assisting local businesses in extracting greater value from sales events and becoming successful digital entrepreneurs.
Amazon's approach focuses on leveraging technology as an enabler for sellers across India to scale up their businesses and cater to customers nationwide through e-commerce platforms.

Over a million artisans and weavers from the Amazon Karigar programme, more than 6.8 lakh women entrepreneurs from the Amazon Saheli programme, and over 50,000 neighborhood stores from Local Shops on Amazon.in are expected to participate.
Additionally, numerous new sellers from different regions of India, as well as emerging brands from Indian start-ups under the Amazon Launchpad program, will join the event.
Prime Day 2023 will witness an extensive array of new product launches by small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Notably, more than 2,000 new products across categories such as home & kitchen, fashion & grooming, jewelry, and handmade products will be introduced by SMBs.
