Big news related to the recently launched private airline company Akash Air is coming out. The company has informed that the personal information of the passengers has been leaked. Personal information of passengers such as names, mobile numbers,s, and email addresses have been leaked. The information about this leak has been provided by the company itself. According to the company, due to some temporary technical glitch in the login and sign-up services, these details have become available to unauthorized persons. It is worth noting that the company started operating the aircraft on August 7. The airline company itself has confirmed this error. The company said that they have also informed the government and the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERTIn) about this data leak.

Apart from this, the company has apologized to the customers for the mistake of leaking personal information and has also informed all the passengers who have booked tickets on its website about this data leak. The company has further stated that on August 25, some temporary technical error was noticed in our login and sign-up services. After this, the information of the registered user with the company such as name, gender, mobile number, and email address became available to unauthorized persons. However, the airline has clarified that apart from this information, information related to travel and payment of passengers has not been disclosed.
