India’s one of oldest mobile operators, Airtel has raised the price of its tariffs. The Tariff price for the pre-paid can increase by 20-25% from November 26. The price for the post-paid services can also increase. The other mobile operator companies can also increase the cost of their services taking into consideration the profitability ahead of new investment in 5G.
The company has said that the raise will help improve the Average Revenue Per User, which will enable the substantial investments required in network and spectrum. The rise in the tariff plans will once again raise questions about the service quality of the Indian Telecom Sector for the past few years.
